Whether you’re 16 or 60 - you'll enter the Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) program when applying for a Class 5 licence. Managed by Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI), the program is designed to give drivers more experience while reducing risks during early driving years.
Anyone who applies for their first Class 5 (passenger vehicle) or Class 6 (motorcycle) licence.
Note: Time in Learner and Intermediate stages only count if your licence is valid.
